Join cultural heritage specialist and Resident Adjunct with Griffith University, Dr Janis Hanley, to explore Chinese market gardens that were cultivated in Annerley and surrounds from the late 1880s to post-World War Two. Discover more about the lives of the gardeners, including the impacts of the White Australia Policy. There will be opportunities for participants to share their knowledge and memories of the gardens. Presented by the Annerley-Stephens History Group.
