In line with the Royal Queensland Art Society’s commitment to encouraging and supporting young people the Young Artist Award is an open competition for artists aged 30 & under, offering $2500 prize pool for Queensland’s emerging fine art champions.
Young artists are invited to submit Paintings or Drawings of a subject created and observed from life. That is, that the artist views their subject in real life and 3D, rather than drawing/painting from a photo in 2D.
Entry Form Due Date: Wednesday 28th August by 3:30pm
Exhibition will be on show at Petrie Terrace Gallery from Friday 27th September to Sunday 27th October 2024.
