Nature Journalling (8 - 16 year olds)
10:00am to 11:00am
8 - 16 year olds
Free
Nature journalling is the practice of recording your interactions with nature on paper - you can use sketches, paintings, poetry, species lists, numbers, graphs, cartoons and more. It is a fun, easy, relaxing practice to get into, that encourages mindfulness, hones our observation skills and cultivates a sense of wonder.
Environment Centre staff will guide participants through some fun and simple exercises in this introductory session that will help them learn the basics and discover the joys of connecting with nature through nature journalling.
All materials will be provided but we recommend you bring your own sketch/art book so you can keep your creations in one place.

Bookings required via Eventbrite. All children must have a supervising adult booked into the event, even if they do not participate (though we're sure you will enjoy the session too!). 1 adult to a maximum of 4 children.
