Join Brisbane City Council&#39;s Environment Centre staff to learn the basics of the calming, creative practice of nature journalling. Close observation and recording of the natural world can be a wonderful form of meditative expression, and provides an opportunity for stillness, reflection, and mindful connection with nature. You don&#39;t need to be an artist to enjoy this rewarding practice. Please bring your own basic pencils and sketch pad/notebook. You might like to bring a lightweight chair or cushion to sit comfortably outdoors. This activity will take place in the centre, picnic area and nearby accessible tracks, and can be delivered indoors in the event of rain. <strong>Requirements: </strong>Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in. Wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent.&nbsp;Please bring along drinking water and some snacks or a picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site. <strong>Note: </strong>All activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day.
