Additional temporary sandbag sites are now open to residents.
Additional sites will be located at:
- Acacia Ridge - Mortimer Road Park
- Toowong - Old Toowong Bowls Club, Corner Gailey Road and Heroes Avenue
- Camp Hill - Whites Hill Reserve, off Boundary Road
- Boondall - Boondall Entertainment Centre carpark.
Residents are advised to bring their own shovel and cable ties. Residents can bring their own bags if they have them.
Traffic control and SES volunteers will be in place to assist residents.
Sandbags are also available for collection from the following locations:
- Darra - 38 Shamrock Road, Darra
- Morningside - 9 Redfern Street, Morningside
- Newmarket - 66 Wilston Road (in carpark off Erneton Street), Newmarket
- Zillmere - 33 Jennings Street, Zillmere
- Lota - Herbert Street, Lota.
