There will be temporary road and busway closures in place in Woolloongabba from Friday 20 September 2024 to Monday 7 October 2024, for the next stage of major construction at Buranda busway station.
Temporary weekend road and busway station closures will be in place on the below dates:
- Friday 20 September to Monday 23 September 2024
- Friday 27 September to Monday 30 September 2024
- Friday 4 October to Monday 7 October 2024
O’Keefe Street will be closed to general traffic between Carl Street and Logan Road from 8pm Friday to 5am Monday on the above dates. Access will be maintained for local traffic, emergency services and Translink operated buses. Detours will be in place.
Buranda busway station will be closed from 9pm Friday to 5am Monday on the above dates. Temporary bus stops will be located on O’Keefe Street between Wolseley Street and Carl Street.
Police, traffic controllers and signage will be in place to assist motorists, buses and pedestrians.
