Sandbag stations and Resource Recovery Centres to close at 8pm tonight 

All Council sandbag stations will stop operations at 8pm today, Wednesday 5 March, to ensure resident and staff safety during dangerous weather conditions created by Tropical Cyclone Alfred.  

   

Council’s four Resource Recovery Centres at Willawong, Chandler, Ferny Grove and Nudgee will also close at 8.45pm today.
