There will be temporary road closures and changed parking conditions occurring from Friday 12 April to Saturday 13 April 2024 for the Billie Jean King Cup 2024.
To facilitate the safe operations of this event, temporary road closures and changed traffic conditions will be in place at Tennyson and Yeerongpilly.
The following roads will be fully closed from 6am Friday 12 April to 8pm Saturday 13 April 2024:
- King Arthur Terrace, Tennyson between Softstone Street to Queens Way
- Queens Way, Yeerongpilly between King Arthur Terrace to Godiva Avenue
- Green Street, Yeerongpilly between Wilkie Street to Biarra Street.
On days when events are held at the Queensland Tennis Centre, a one-hour parking restriction applies from 7am to 10pm to all on-street parking in the area, unless signed otherwise.
Police, traffic control and signage will be on site to assist motorists and pedestrians through the area.
Diversion routes will be in place, with all detours and diversion clearly signed on the day.
