Brisbane radio stations for emergency information

It is important to keep up to date in an emergency or disaster event. Your local radio station may be your only source of information. Natural disasters can result in lengthy power outages and isolation due to debris or floodwaters. Landline and mobile phone services may be down.

You should have access to a battery-operated radio and spare batteries in your emergency kit so you can tune into you local radio station during an emergency or disaster event.
