The Banyo Library features a variety of facilities and services, as well as plenty of activities and events. This library is also wheelchair accessible and has community meeting rooms available for hire, including access to a kitchenette.

Changes to operating hours - Christmas and New Year period

  • Tuesday 24 December 2024
    All libraries close at 1pm, including the Mobile Library. Banyo Library will open from 10am-1pm and West End Library will open from 9am-1pm.
  • Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 December 2024
    All libraries closed, including the Mobile Library.
  • Monday 30 December 2024
    Normal operating hours.
  • Tuesday 31 December 2024
    All libraries close at 1pm, including the Mobile Library. Banyo Library will open from 10am-1pm and West End Library will open from 9am-1pm.
  • Wednesday 1 January 2025
    All libraries closed, including the Mobile Library.
  • Thursday 2 January 2025
    Return to normal operating hours.

Returns chutes and book bins will be closed over this period. Customers are requested to return borrowed items before Christmas Eve, or when we return to normal operating hours on Thursday 2 January. No items are due during this time.
