Join Environment Centre staff&nbsp; and learn the basics of nature journaling. Slow down, engage your senses, and take the time to observe and record what you see, hear, and feel. Nature journaling can be a wonderful form of meditative expression as you immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, all while receiving the incredible gifts our environment offers.&nbsp; Please bring your own art materials:<ul> <li>Unlined A4 sketchpad/notebook</li> <li>HB and 2B pencils, and any other materials you&rsquo;d like to use.&nbsp;</li> <li>You might like to bring a stool, cushion, or picnic blanket to sit comfortably outdoors.&nbsp;</li></ul>After the workshop feel free to visit the Environment Centre or remain in the reserve to continue with your project. <strong>Requirements</strong><ul> <li>Bring your own art basic materials.</li> <li>Wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen and insect repellent.</li> <li>Bring drinking water and a snack or picnic lunch as there are no food outlets on site.</li> <li>Arrive ten minutes early for check-in.</li></ul><strong>Note</strong>: outdoor activities are subject to weather and environmental conditions and may be cancelled on the day <strong>Venue:</strong> Downfall Creek Bushland Centre 815 Rode Road, McDowall (in Raven Street Reserve). Please bring your own art materials:

  • Unlined A4 sketchpad/notebook
  • HB and 2B pencils, and any other materials you’d like to use. 
  • You might like to bring a stool, cushion, or picnic blanket to sit comfortably outdoors.
