Join Brisbane City Council's Environment Centre staff on a twilight nature walk through Chermside Hills. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature as we explore the flora and fauna that surround us, all while discovering the incredible gifts our environment offers.
What to expect
Stroll along the 2.km Giwadha Track with a guide and enjoy the views of the forest at dusk. Note, this track has some climbs and steps, moderate fitness required.
This activity will continue in light rain.
Requirements
- For safety reasons, moderate fitness is required.
- Wear secure, fully enclosed walking shoes, and light-weight long pants and long sleeves are recommended.
- Bring a small hand-held torch (no headlamps), insect repellent, drinking water, snack, and a raincoat if required.
- Do not leave early unless it is an emergency.
