‘War comes to Mt Coot-tha’ presented by Janet Spillman. Janet will begin her talk with the history of Mt Coot-tha as a railway reserve then later, as a recreation reserve. During World War 2, the area was occupied by American and Australian troops. Janet will discuss the environmental damage to the reserve and its restoration by Brisbane City Council.
