Add to Calendar 2024-08-24 19:00 2024-08-24 20:30 Australia/Brisbane Brush and Bow - Music and Art Projections Riverbend Ensemble will present a unique event where art and music combine - string quartet music by Australian composers Thomas Green, Rachel Merton, Elena Kats-Chernin, Robert Davidson and Corrinna Bonshek will be accompanied by the art of popular landscape artist Kate Marek, projected on screen, The concert includes two newly commissioned works by Green and Merton, presented at the iconic Graceville Central Uniting Church, designed by Walter Taylor. Riverbend Ensemble is the recipient of of a Creative Sparks grant for this event.&nbsp;<p>The Creative Sparks grant is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council to support local arts and culture in Brisbane.</p>
