Join renowned artist and scientific illustrator Nicole Crosswell at the Drawing the Eucalyptus Workshop in the iconic Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha.
Drawing the Eucalyptus Workshop is going to be held on Friday 21 March, in honour of National Eucalyptus Day (Sunday 23 March).
The Drawing Eucalyptus Workshop will be a three-hour experience in the Australian Plant Communities (APC). It will begin with a 30-minute stroll through the APC, during which participants will observe what is flowering in situ. This will be followed by an inspiring 2.5-hour session drawing from specimens freshly cut precisely for the eucalyptus workshop.
Requirements: Please make sure you arrive 5 minutes early for a smooth start time. Please bring a hat and a water bottle.
Location: Australian Plant Communities, Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. You can drive to this part of the gardens on Friday where there is plenty of parking. Drive past the Planetarium on your left, through the gates, and slowly make your way to the APC by following the signs.
