Did you know that plants have shaped much of our world and have been catalysts for revolutions, international intrigue, and law changes? Join this fascinating guided walk and uncover how plants are connected to banana republics, the Boston tea party, food of the gods, codification of alcohol, and more!
This guided walk will be led by the volunteer guides of Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha.
Requirements: This walk includes moderate physical activity, including walking slightly longer distances, up gentle slopes and stairs or walking on some uneven surfaces. Some standing periods for guide explanations but no sitting.
Wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
Meeting point: Meet at the Visitor Information Centre.
Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.
