Lalania Tusa (Burrumunji) is a contemporary Aboriginal Artist of the Kuku Yalanji Tribe in the rainforest of Far North Queensland. Growing up on Kuku Yalanji Country, Lalania has always felt a strong connection to the land and enjoys translating traditional customs and knowledge through a variety of techniques and art mediums.
Join us from 12 noon to 1pm at the Queen Street Mall stage for a live workshop of techniques and seeded jewellery making.
This Gathering event is produced by Cre8tiveNations. Gathering showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performances in the Queen Street Mall. Unique to Brisbane, it is the only Indigenous performance in Australia that is featured weekly in the heart of a major capital city.
