These school holidays, come to the State Library of Queensland to explore sustainability with a twist!
Enjoy hands-on activities for all ages, including Make it, change it, save it, presented by State Library of Queensland and developed in collaboration with Reverse Garbage Queensland to create playful worlds using repurposed objects. Visit kuril dhagun and experience the vibrant world of Deaf in dance showcase and create your own portrait. Plus, enjoy our Scavenger hunt and cozy Reading room for the perfect blend of exploration and relaxation.
Join us from Wednesday 8 January for an exciting series of immersive workshops. Celebrate First Nations culture in our free Cultural Collaborations sessions, where we explore new creative mediums each day. Let your nose become your paint brush at our inclusive disability-led Sniffing colours activity and pull apart old electronics to make beautiful sculptures at our Transforming e-waste workshops. Be sure to visit e-Galaxy, a free interactive public art experience that will inspire you to think about the impact of technology on the natural world.
