Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA) is at the forefront of global advances in melanoma research and treatment. We are a non-profit organisation dedicated to preventing and curing melanoma through innovative, world-class research, treatment and education programs. Our mission is zero deaths from melanoma this decade.
The Melanoma March is Melanoma Institute Australia’s largest annual fundraising event. Each year around 18 volunteer committees throughout Australia host a Melanoma March in their community. Each March consists of speeches, remembrance ceremonies and a 4km easy walk. The events raise a combined $1 million for melanoma research and are attended by people impacted by the disease.
