The MS Moonlight Walk is the first fundraising walk designed to shine a light on neurological conditions and raise much-needed funds to assist those affected, and their supporting families, as well as funding towards essential support services. It is estimated that one million Queenslanders live with a neurological condition, equating to one in four individuals across the state. Running for over 25 years, the MS Moonlight Walk is one of MS Queensland’s flagship events and hopes to raise $455,000 in 2024. Funds raised from the walk will also go towards the state’s first Neuro Wellness Hub, which launched earlier this year in Milton to provide support and community to Queenslanders living with neurological conditions and to help build more hubs throughout Queensland. The Moonlight Walk will commence at Roma Street Parklands for the first time and will see participants take part in either a 3km or 6km course, with the goal of raising a minimum of $250 per person to help the one million Queenslanders living with neurological conditions.
