9:30am to 12:30pm
Young adults, Adults (30+), Seniors

Discover some of the Brisbane region’s threatened plants and hear their stories. Choose one to observe more closely and then – in the style of artist William Morris – use pattern and repetition to create a pleasing colourful design of the leaves, flowers and fruit. All materials provided. Presented by the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha Education Team. Please bring a snack and a keep cup or water bottle. This workshop supports the Botanic Gardens’ commitment to creating a plant loving community dedicated to putting the ‘plant back into planet’. Ideal for those 16 years and older.
