Using the book Cranky Frankie and the Oceans of Trash by local Brisbane author Sue Pillans, participants will be taken on an adventure that educates them about the rubbish in the ocean. They then will be able to use the microscopes and magnifiers to look at shells, sand and stones from the beach and participate in making a collage out of rubbish to promote putting ‘rubbish’ in the bin. Ideal for children aged 3-7 years.
Readers of all ages and interests are invited to join the challenge with Brisbane City Council libraries' Summer Reading program. It's free to participate! Find out more here.
