Book time to speak with a Brisbane City Council planner about the Inner-City Affordability Initiative and proposed amendment.
To make new homes more affordable, Council is proposing to amend the Brisbane City Plan 2014 (City Plan) to reduce car parking requirements in some inner-city areas.The proposed amendment expands the area where existing City Plan standards that allow lower numbers of on-site car parking spaces in new developments, are applied. The amendment would apply to inner-city areas which have easy access to high-frequency public transport and active travel infrastructure.
