From 5 December 2024, we will be completing works to place the final layer of asphalt pavement and line marking along Beams Road between Lacey Road and Balcara Avenue.

In October 2024 we will be shifting the work zone to the middle of Beams Road and redirecting traffic to one lane in each direction. 

From August 2024 we will be changing traffic conditions along Beams Road, between Cowie Road and Dorville Road.

Due to recent and forecast wet weather, the night and continuous weekend construction works along Beams Road and Dorville Road have been rescheduled.

As a part of our plan to upgrade the Beams Road corridor, we will be undertaking major works along both Beams Road and Dorville Road in a continuous period of night and weekend works. 

Nightworks will take place between Cowie Road and Balcara Avenue, with traffic to be redirected to the southern lanes of Beams road. 

Starting soon, new traffic arrangements will be implemented along Beams Road, between Dorville Road and Balcara Avenue. These new traffic arrangements will be in place until mid-2024. 

There is a temporary closure of the footpath on the Northern side of Beams Road between Cowie Road and Dorville Road from Monday 19 February for up to six months.

As part of the Beams Road upgrade project, electrical and communication upgrades are continuing along the corridor from 8 January 2024 for approximately 2 weeks.

Construction activities have commenced on Beams Road. Demolition works and vegetation clearing have been completed and you will now start to notice changes to the traffic arrangements.
