Captain Burke Park - Kangaroo Point park booking sites

Captain Burke Park at Kangaroo Point has 2 park booking sites for bookings for special events of short duration. The inner-city riverfront park is located below the Story Bridge, with city and river views and is located close to the Holman Street ferry terminal.

Due to maintenance on the Story Bridge, the 2 park booking sites at Captain Burke Park are not available for booking until further notice.

Captain Burke Park is located at 117 Holman Street, Kangaroo Point.

Bookings conditions

  • Bookings only apply to the bookable site and use of any facilities within that site. 
  • You cannot book barbecues, shelters or playgrounds. You must share these facilities with other park users.
  • Vehicle access is not permitted. The booking site isn’t accessible by car, but there’s parking within walking distance.
  • Power points may have different phases (i.e. operate on different voltages), so it is advisable to check the compatibility of your electronic equipment before your event.
  • You may be able to book a different area of the park. Submit an application and you will be contacted regarding the suitability of the site for the event, availability and fees.
